How and what can you donate to the gphoto2 project?

If you have camera protocol documentation or can get access to it, we can use it to enhance our implementations.

For instance Marcus owns a copy of the PTP ISO standard 15740, both the original and the 15740:2008 edition.

If you are a camera vendor and want to help gphoto2, sending us datasheets of your PTP vendor commands or similar will help us greatly already.

You can donate camera hardware for help with improving the driver for this specific camera or similar cameras from the same vendor.

Temporary loans of camera hardware are also possible, but cause more efforts on our side.

Your monetary donations will be used to acquire documentation, rent and/or buy cameras for driver implementation purposes.
